SMS messaging from RolediApps

This page explains what text messages our apps send, how we obtain the phone numbers we send them to, and how to stop receiving them.

What we send

We send transactional notifications only. Every message is triggered by something the recipient's own contact configured inside one of our apps.

No marketing, promotional or advertising messages.
No bulk or purchased lists. Ever.
No third-party content. We never send on behalf of anyone else.

Typical volume is fewer than 100 messages per month across all our apps, because messages are only sent when a specific event happens.

How we get phone numbers, and how consent works

We do not collect phone numbers from web forms, lists or third parties. A number reaches us in one way only:

A person using one of our apps chooses someone they want to be notified — usually a family member, friend or neighbour.
They enter that person's name and mobile number themselves, inside the app.
On the same screen they confirm that they have that person's permission to be contacted.
The first message that person receives identifies our app, names the person who added them, explains why they are receiving it, and tells them how to stop.

Our users can send a test message during setup, so the person they nominated learns about it calmly rather than during an emergency.

How to stop receiving messages

Reply STOP to any message from us and you will not be messaged again.
Reply HELP to get our contact details.

A number that replies STOP is recorded as opted out and excluded from all future messages, in every one of our apps. The app also shows the person who added that contact that we can no longer reach them, so they can nominate someone else.

You can also write to support@rolediapps.in at any time and we will remove the number.

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency depends on the app and on the events that trigger it.

Our apps that send messages

Snuggy — daily check-in

Snuggy is a daily check-in app for people who live alone. Each day the user taps one button to confirm they are okay. If they miss their check-in, we notify the emergency contact they entered during setup and ask that person to call them.
